Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
This policy lists what you may not do with tufu (the “Service”), operated by Davos Dev LLC. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone on your team.
1. Content
Don't add knowledge, instructions or messages, or configure a bot to produce content, that:
- is illegal, or that you don't have the rights to use, including content that infringes copyright, trademarks or trade secrets;
- sexually exploits or endangers minors, in any way;
- harasses, threatens, defames or discriminates against people, or promotes violence or self-harm;
- is malware, phishing, or intended to deceive people into giving up credentials, money or personal data; or
- is sexually explicit or promotes illegal goods or services.
2. Use of bots
Don't use the Service to:
- deceive Visitors into thinking a bot is a person, or impersonate any person or organization;
- collect payment card numbers, passwords, government identifiers, health data or other sensitive personal data through a chat or the support email your bot answers;
- give legal, medical, financial or other professional advice that requires a license or a human professional;
- make automated decisions about people that have legal or similarly significant effects (such as credit, housing, employment or insurance);
- send spam, bulk or unsolicited messages, including through the email and Slack features. Your tufu forwarding address is for the support mail your own customers send you: don't forward mailing lists, purchased lists or mail you aren't allowed to process, and don't use a bot's email replies for marketing; or
- engage in or encourage illegal activity.
3. The Service itself
Don't:
- access or try to access other customers' data or accounts, or probe, scan or test the Service's vulnerabilities without our written permission (security reports are welcome, see section 5);
- disrupt the Service or overload it, including by automated traffic designed to use up answers or get around rate limits, usage caps or plan limits, or by creating teams or accounts to multiply free allowances;
- scrape the Service, or use it or its output to build a competing product or train AI models;
- reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
- point the Service at websites, repositories or workspaces you aren't allowed to use as a knowledge source; or
- resell the Service or give access to it to third parties as your own service without our written agreement.
You must also follow the usage policies of the AI provider that generates answers (currently Anthropic), or of your own provider if you add your key, and of the integrations you connect, such as Slack.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations. Depending on how serious they are, we may remove content, disable a bot, limit features, or suspend or terminate an account, with notice where reasonable. Where the law requires it, we report illegal content to the authorities.
5. Reporting abuse, copyright and security issues
To report a bot or content that breaks this policy, a copyright claim, or a security vulnerability, email . For copyright claims, include the information the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act requires: your signature, the work you believe is infringed, where the material is on the Service, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief that the use isn't authorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner. We remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
