For online stores
Where's my parcel? Can I return it? Answered before the cart is abandoned.
Shoppers ask before they buy and after the box arrives. tufu answers both from your product pages and policies, in your store's chat, and sends you the ones about a specific order.

What to know
What it does for you
Answers questions about delivery times, return windows, sizing and materials from your store's pages, says so when it doesn't know, and collects a shopper's email when they want a reply later.
What it needs
Your store's sitemap and policy pages as knowledge. On Shopify you paste two lines into your theme; on a store built on WordPress the plugin connects with a button and no code.
Which plan
The chat, handoff and the lead form work on every plan. Team adds your own questions on the form, new-lead alerts, a CSV of every lead and webhooks.
How it works
Open for questions in an afternoon.
- 01Add your store as a website source from its sitemap, on your own domain. Add your shipping and refund policies as a second source, one address per line.
- 02Put the chat on the store: two lines in your theme, or the WordPress plugin's Connect to tufu. Pick a color that matches your brand on the bot's Look tab.
- 03Turn on Leads for the bot and choose when it asks: when someone wants a person, after its first answer, or before the chat starts.
- 04Add your order tracking page to the knowledge, so the bot can send shoppers there, and answer the rest from your inbox, your email or Slack.

Goes well with
Questions
Before you start.
Can it check the status of an order?
No. tufu doesn't connect to your store's admin, so a question about one order goes to a person: the shopper presses Talk to a human, or the bot hands off when it can't help.
A shopper leaves their email twice. Two leads?
One. One email is one lead, so a shopper who comes back and leaves their details again updates the lead they already have, and a shopper who did is never asked again in that browser.
Can I send leads to my mailing list?
On Team, a webhook sends each new lead to Zapier, Make or your own code the moment it arrives, with whether the shopper ticked your marketing box and the exact words they saw.
Will it get in the way at checkout?
Only if you want it there. Where it appears takes paths to hide it on, such as /checkout/*, and the bubble stays out of the way until a shopper opens it.
