For agencies and freelancers

Get the brief before the call. Project, budget, timeline: asked in the chat.

A contact form gets you 'hi, can you build a website?'. tufu answers what visitors want to know about your process and past work from your own pages, then asks the three questions every first call starts with, so you walk into the call knowing whether it's a fit.

Free US$0 · Starter US$19 · Team US$49 · Scale US$249 a month. One price for the whole team. No seats, ever.

What to know

  • What it does for you

Answers questions about your services, process, rates and case studies from your site, then collects a short brief and offers your intro call, or hands a hot lead straight to whoever is around.

  • What it needs

Your services pages, process page and case studies as knowledge, a booking page for intro calls, and, if you want briefs in your CRM or project board, a webhook address from Zapier, Make or your own server.

  • Which plan

Team is built for agencies: no seats, so every account manager can reply, routing that takes turns, and webhooks that send each brief to your tools.

How it works

A brief, without the form.

  1. 01Add your services and process pages and a few case studies. The bot links the case study it used when someone asks if you've done work like theirs.
  2. 02Build the brief as a playbook: the kind of project as a choice, a budget range as a choice, the timeline, then their email and company.
  3. 03Finish with your intro call link, and add a Send webhook step: playbook.completed carries every answer to Zapier, Make or your own server.
  4. 04On the Team plan, set routing to take turns, so each new conversation goes to the next person in rotation, and a reminder pings the whole team if nobody replies.

Questions

Before you start.

Can I run one bot per client?

Yes. Each bot has its own knowledge, look and playbooks, so a client's site can get its own assistant. Your team's inbox has all of them, filterable by bot.

Will small enquiries waste our time?

Put the budget question early and let the smallest range jump to a page with your starter packages instead of the call. Only the projects you want reach your calendar.

Where do the briefs end up?

In the inbox, with the conversation, as a lead. With a webhook they can also go to your CRM, a spreadsheet or your project board, signed so you can check they came from tufu.

Do we pay per account manager?

No. There are no seats on any plan, so everyone who might take a call can be on the team.
