Answers in about three sentences at most and adds Read more links. tufu builds those links from the passages it cited instead of letting the model type them, so each one opens a real page you own.
What it needs
Your docs added as knowledge, a public bot, and the same script as the chat with one more tag where the box should sit. A plain page link works too, for an iframe of your own.

How it works
From docs to answers in three steps.
- 01Add your docs site as a Website source. Set the bot's Mode to Ask console to write its suggested questions and pick a “Still stuck?” chat bot for when the docs fall short.
- 02Paste the script once, then the <tufu-ask> tag wherever the search box goes: the header, the sidebar, the top of your help center.
- 03Press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K elsewhere, anywhere on the page, and ask. Change the letter with the hotkey attribute, or switch the shortcut off.

Before you start.
What if the docs don't cover a question?
The console says so plainly and lists the pages that came closest, plus your “Still stuck?” link when you've set one. It doesn't make something up to fill the gap.
Is a repeated question charged again?
No. The same question is answered instantly from a cache for a few hours, until your bot or its knowledge changes, and a cached answer doesn't count. Reports still show every question.
What happens when answers are paused?
Search keeps working without the AI. Readers see “Answers are paused for now” with the nearest pages, and those searches never count as answers.
Can I style the box to match my docs?
Yes. The Look tab sets the accent, corners, font and search text with a live preview, and CSS variables such as --tufu-ask-width take care of the rest.
