For developer tools and docs
Developers search before they ask. Give the search an answer.
A developer stuck on an error wants the right paragraph, not a ticket form. The Ask console reads your reference and guides, answers in about three sentences, and points at the section to read next.

What to know
What it reads
Your docs site, Markdown or PDF files in a public repository, a zip of Markdown at a public link, or one Confluence space. Answers cite the passages they used, and Read more links point at those pages.
What it needs
The script and one <tufu-ask> tag where the search box belongs. It opens with ⌘K or Ctrl+K from anywhere on the page, and the hotkey attribute changes the letter or turns it off.
Which plan
The Ask console is on every plan. Team adds answers in your Discord server, a second bot for a separate support chat, and a repository or wiki that refreshes itself weekly.
How it works
Wire it into your docs.
- 01Add knowledge: your docs site, or a GitHub repo entered as owner/name with the files to read (Text, PDF, or a regular expression such as .*\.md$). A wiki comes in with its address and the space key.
- 02Set the bot's Mode to Ask console, write its suggested questions, and pick a Still stuck? chat bot for when the docs don't cover something.
- 03Paste the script once and the <tufu-ask> element in your docs layout's header or sidebar.
- 04Link it from your README or error messages too: the console is a plain page, and adding ?q= to its address asks the question right away.

Goes well with
Questions
Before you start.
Can it invent a link to a page that doesn't exist?
No. Links come only from the passages it found in your knowledge, and the AI never writes one itself, so every link points at a real page you gave it.
What if the docs don't cover the question?
The console says so, lists the pages that came closest and offers your Still stuck? link. The question shows up in Knowledge gaps, ranked with the others.
Do repeated questions cost anything?
A question asked again is answered from a cache for a few hours, until the bot or its knowledge changes, and a cached answer never counts toward your plan.
Our community lives in Discord. Can it answer there?
Yes. Mention the bot or use its slash command, and it answers in a thread with its sources. When someone needs a maintainer, /human hands the thread to your inbox and your reply is posted back.
Set it up before your next support email.
Free to start, no card needed. Point it at your site and it's answering in about ten minutes.
